Wonderful Town
"Emily Fargo White, costume designer, did a great job fitting costumes to the personalities. Most noteworthy was Ruth’s period attire that reflected her serious and resigned demeanor, and sister Eileen’s (Katherine Krebs) flowery and ruffled dresses that accentuated her personality that could be described in the same terms." - Cape Cod Times
Throughly Modern Millie
"Costume designer Emily Fargo White puts the cast in elegant flapper-era clothes and allows the typing pool girls to don dazzling gowns." - Cape News
"The musical features... perfectly hip (or roaring) costumes, thanks to costume designer Emily Fargo White, that will take you back in time to when fun ruled the house and life was more of a ball." - Cape Cod Times
Pippin
"It’s hard to summon enough adjectives to adequately praise CLOC’s production of 'Pippin.' Simply, if you are a fan of musical theater, you shouldn’t miss it." - Cape Cod Times
La Périchole
"And costumes seem authentic, with plenty of shining satin and brocade. Benke (La Périchole) is stunning in a gold satin and brocade gown in a scene where she is presented to the viceroy’s court. (Costume design is by Emily Fargo White)." - Cape Cod Times
The Music Man
"The chorus also looks great, thanks to early 20th-century costuming provided by Emily Fargo White... Simply put, musical theater done by the College Light Opera is musical theater done well. “The Music Man” is no exception, and it earns a rating of 76 trombones." - Cape Cod Times
Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street
"Adding to the effect are dark and authentic-looking costumes and makeup that give ensemble members their 'Dawn of the Dead' appearance." - Cape Cod Times
"It’s enjoyable and expands one’s idea of a Broadway musical. It has more drama than dancing, but is well worth going to see how love and lust shape the lives of the main characters." - Cape News
Iolanthe
"All of the costumes – designed by Emily Fargo White – are dazzling, just the way you hope a fun and frothy musical extravaganza will be. Half the peers wear suits with cutaway morning coats. The other half wear kilts. En masse, the CLOC fairies look like a flower garden. The segments of their colorful, satiny skirts resemble petals, and flowers crown each of their heads. Not wreaths of flowers. Not a flower stuck behind the ear. But clusters of flowers (generally one type per fairy) with the Queen of the Fairies rating an especially towering adornment of pink blossoms.Phyllis’ shepherdess dress has panniers – or, at least, a pannier effect – distending the skirt rather outrageously at the hips. If memory serves, it was made from toile, hopefully with a pastoral pattern. And, in a lovely touch, Strephon’s vest is made of the same fabric." - Cape Cod Times
Cabaret
"The costumes and makeup throughout were spot-on; some of their attire did not leave much to the imagination." - Cape News
